I started Julie Smith Bookkeeping to remove the burden of bookkeeping from a busy business owner’s to-do list. As an online bookkeeping firm, I help you gain clarity on your numbers so you can focus on more important tasks or spend more time with your family and enjoying your hobbies. I have 15+ years of operations experience, including inventory management and logistics. I earned an accounting degree from Bowling Green State University and am excited to use the knowledge I gained in college in this endeavor. As an organized person, I have a special superpower for putting things where they belong.

Do you work remotely?
Yes! I work with clients remotely and can also support local clients.

Do I have to use Quickbooks?
Quickbooks is easist as I am a Certified Proadvisor and am very familiar with the software. I can also connect with your information very easily through Quickbooks. I am also close to an expert at managing excel sheets. I am flexible to work with any solution you are currently using and will be clear if there might be a learning curve with your software of current use. As long as I can access your system, then I can work with almost any software.
How much do your services cost?

Services start at $250/month and are increased from there depending on the size and complexity of your business.
I offer clean ups and catch ups as well at the flat rate depending on the complexity and length of clean up tasks.
How do we work together?

It all starts with reaching out to me first. We will discuss the scale and size of your business. I will provide a detailed quote. If moving forward, an engagement letter will be signed and payment will be initated to get started. Client will provide access to their system and I will begin working away. We will be communciating a lot during the early stages as I get a feel for your business transactions, etc. I love the first few months of discovery. It's a fun challenge unraveling the mysteries and complecities of each client.
